Very nice original WWII M1 Helmet Liner that has had its worn guts carefully removed and has been restored. Stripped completely to the bare fiberglass body, this liner has been finished with a fresh new coat of exact matched early dark olive drab matte enamel, as used in first production high pressure Inland, Westinghouse and MSA liners. Early Westinghouse manufacture with zinc steel eyelet, has the added drilled holes on the side in lieu of chinstrap studs, as this liner is meant to use the early frame-buckle fixed chinstrap.
This is a perfect candidate to finish a restoration, either with a web kit of your own or by sending off to J Murray Inc 1944 for final install.
Excellent for display or reenactment. A great foundation to build a unique, early issue helmet liner.
