Vtg WWII 1940s Royal Air Force British War Relief Society Pin -Enamel Pinback........Box TP: RAF .Made in the United States, by Accessocraft, a large costume jewelry manufacturer of the time. Sold to help finance the British war relief Society, an organization that aided Great Britain in WW2. They used the R.A.F. wings and emblem to show their acknowledgment of the success of the RAF in the Battle of Britain. This pinback is approx. 1.5\" long and 0.5\" tall. \"Accessocraft\" and \"Pat. Appld For\" and \"Official B.W.R.S.\" on the back. A large amount of Enamel is worn off- Please READ \"CONDITION\" BELOW BEFORE PURCHASE.

CONDITION:Has age wear, with a great deal of loss of the enamel. The red enamel of the Crown is almost completely rubbed off, the White on the \"RAF\" lettering is rubbed off, and some of the blue underlay for the British War Relief Society is missing.
