Original WWII-era U.S. Navy officer insignia and uniform parts lot. Includes:
Pair of Lieutenant Commander shoulder boards with gold braid and star.
Assortment of gilt eagle/anchor buttons, most marked Waterbury Button Co., various sizes.
Black buttons and miscellaneous hardware pieces.
Loose gold braid trim.
Condition: Boards show wear, braid dulled with age. Buttons range from bright gilt to tarnished. Hardware shows oxidation. All pieces original WWII period. Group came from a U.S. Naval Reserve aviation lieutenant.
