These classic aviator goggles were produced circa 1943 for United States Army Air Forces and Navy flight crews (pilots, gunners, and observers). They feature nickel-plated metal frames with the clear “AN6530” stamp on the bridge, tempered glass lenses, a one-piece rubber face cushion, and an adjustable elastic strap.
The AN-6530 was a strengthened mid-war design that replaced the earlier B-7 goggles and was used extensively during World War II before being superseded by the B-8 in 1944. They are an iconic piece of WWII aviation history.
