8 Enbloc clips toload into the bandolier which is stamped "Cal .30 Ball M2 8rd Clips LC39375". M1 Garand bandolier will hold 6 x 8rd clips of ammo or it can hold15 rd magazines for the M1 Carbine. Used by all US soldiers in WW2 that usedthe M1 Garand including Infantry, Paratroopers, Rangers and Armored troops

The bandolier is alightweight 6 pocket bandolier with an attached shoulder strap. Each pocket isdesigned to hold either M1 Garand 8 round enbloc clips or rounds on stripperclips (for the likes of the Springfield rifle). Was issued full of ammoand was a quickway to get resupply ammo to the front line troops. The Garand cottonammobandolier was initially designed to be thrown away aftertheammunitionhad beenloaded into the webbing pouches but theyproved a very popular way of carrying extra ammunition by wearing them acrossthe body.
