Original World War II-era United States War Ration Book Four issued by the Office of Price Administration (OPA).
This is an authentic piece of American home-front history, with numerous original ration coupons still remaining inside. Coupons include numbered “Spare” and “Coffee” stamps as well as lettered and numbered colored ration stamps. A number of stamps were used or removed during the period.
The front cover retains its original printed OPA information along with period handwritten owner information. Personal information is intentionally not transcribed in this listing.
A fascinating collectible illustrating the rationing system American families used during WWII for food and other scarce goods. Great for a WWII collection, home-front display, educational collection, or historical ephemera collection.
