This authentic USSR “Veteran of Labor” medal (За долголетний добросовестный труд) dates to the late Soviet period, typically issued from 1974 through 1991. The obverse displays the hammer-and-sickle emblem with radiating sunburst, while the reverse bears the award inscription recognizing long and faithful civilian service. These medals were presented to workers who dedicated decades of loyal labor to Soviet industry, agriculture, education, and scientific work.

This example retains the correct folded ribbon mount and pin-back fastener typical of 1980s manufacture.
