The award medal FOR DESIRE was instituted in December 1801 by Emperor Alexander I. On the front side is a profile portrait of Alexander III, on the reverse side there is a circular inscription FOR DESIRE.
A fantastic part of military history not to be missed at this low listing price. It would be extremely hard to find a much better example than these medals, medals weight a bit.
