Offered is an original Belgian made bayonet, together with its original scabbard, manufactured for use with the FN 49 battle rifle. This bayonet is marked SA 30 for Saive Automatic chambered in 30 caliber (30-06). The bayonet features an 8.875” blade and a 14” overall length. It retains both its factory edge and tip, having never been sharpened after leaving the factory. The original finish of the blade has only the most minor of runner wear. The original grips are unmolested and have only minor handling marks. The lock/release button functions as it should. The serial numbers on both the bayonet and on the original scabbard are matching. The scabbard retains its original finish. This is a very difficult rig to upgrade.
