This lapel pin or badge is constructed of silver metal. It has blue enamel border and lettering, and a Queen's crown at the top. The words read, "INSTRUCTOR" and "CIVIL DEFENCE". I believe it is post WWII (Cold War?). Measuring about 1.25" tall and 1" wide, this emblem is in good condition with some tarnishing on back. There is also a tiny spot of tarnish on the front of the crown. There are no markings except for a rectangle shape box on back of the crown and another near the bottom (very faint). offer now to add this treasure to your Militaria collection!
