1-72 Armor Aces High Challenge Coin 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey
⭐ KEY FEATURES
• 1st Battalion, 72nd Armor Regiment “Aces High” challenge coin
• Four-aces playing card centerpiece with armored battalion symbolism
• Antiqued brass-tone dual-sided build with raised tank relief artwork
📌 DESCRIPTION
This distinctive 1-72 Armor Regiment “Aces High” challenge coin represents one of the more recognizable armored battalion identities associated with the 2nd Infantry Division and Camp Casey, South Korea. The aggressive saw-blade style outer shape immediately separates it from standard round challenge coin production and gives the piece strong display presence despite its compact size.
The obverse features the battalion’s iconic “Aces High” theme with a four-aces card hand centerpiece surrounded by the stamped identifiers spelling out A.C.E.S. H.I.G.H. and 1-7-2 around the perimeter. The design ties directly into the battalion nickname and armored warfare identity long recognized among Army collectors.
The reverse showcases an M1 Abrams tank moving through mountainous terrain, reflecting the Korean Peninsula environment where the battalion historically operated as part of the 2nd Infantry Division “Second to None.” The sculpted relief artwork and darker recessed antiquing give the coin an older, field-display style appearance that collectors often prefer over newer polished production pieces.

Shows natural age, finish variation, and handling consistent with collector display and storage over time.
