This jacket represents a Junior Officer configuration (Lieutenant / Captain) with gold lace shoulder boards featuring a central red line. The red felt collar tabs feature the golden State Emblem of the USSR, historically associated with Justice, Administration, or Medical branch services.
The jacket includes an English-facing "MADE IN USSR" export ink stamp inside the collar, indicating it was processed as military surplus for foreign markets following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
