Spanish American Pre-WW1 US Army Khaki Knapsack Haversack Stenciled For Sale

This US military knapsack is a sturdy khaki canvas that is in good condition, no holes or tears. It has usage and storage soiling. There is a pocket at top of bag that fastens with metal buttons and rawhide loops. The leather belt has both keepers and brass hooks. The belt has a brass hook that fastens back into the belt holes, one hook is missing. There is a US stenciled on front of flap. Inside of flapis stenciled with “NEEWAH” IWAO OKAZAKI SEATTLE, WASH. 601 WASH. ST. U.S.A. . The address is now part of the Chinatown-International District that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
