USSR Merchant Navy 2nd Chief Officer Shoulder Boards Soviet Marine Uniform A148 For Sale

This is an authentic pair of vintage USSR Merchant Navy (Морфлот СССР) shoulder boards, representing the rank of Second Chief Officer or 3rd Category Specialist (2-й помощник капитана / 3 категория). The shoulder boards feature a deep black wool felt backing, beautifully adorned with woven golden metallic bullion wire inserts that form the distinctive maritime diamond/loop pattern alongside two horizontal rank stripes. Each board is completed by an original golden brass button featuring the Soviet anchor, hammer, and sickle insignia. Presenting a fantastic clean appearance with sharp geometry and minimal signs of historic wear, these original Soviet-era insignia pieces are highly collectible and perfect for naval collectors, maritime historians, or militaria displays.
