Up for sale is an authentic civilian award from the Soviet Union era, established in 1974. This badge was officially awarded to authors of recognized inventions used in the national economy of the Soviet Union.

• Design: Two-piece construction. The upper rectangular suspension mount is covered with a red ribbon fabric insert. The circular medal below features a golden three-pointed arrowhead over a laurel wreath with the Soviet Hammer and Sickle at the bottom.

• Attachment: Pin-back mechanism on the reverse side of the suspension block
