Details:
The medal was made of silver 925 in the form of a regular circle, bordered on both sides. In the upper part on the front side of the medal there is a relief image of a five-pointed star covered with ruby red enamel. In the center of the star there is a silver hammer and sickle. Under the star there is an in-depth inscription in red enamel in two lines "FOR LABOR VALOR", and below the relief letters "USSR". In the center of the reverse side of the medal there is a relief inscription "WORK IN THE USSR IS A MATTER OF HONOR".
