Up for sale today is a Vintage Vietnam War U.S. Army/USMC Olive Green M-1965 Field Jacket. This one is dated 1971, and it is a size Small Regular. The actual measurements of this jacket are as follows: Laid flat the armpit to armpit is 21 inches, the shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 20 inches, the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff is 25 inches, and the top of the collar to the bottom of this jacket is 32 1/2 inches.
This vintage field jacket is still in excellent condition. There are no rips, tears, holes, or damage anywhere on or in this jacket. There is a little soiling here and there on it though, but none of this is bad by any means. It is also missing the lower label. The olive green color is still excellent everywhere. The stow away hood is in perfect condition. All of the drawstrings are present. Both of the aluminum zippers are in perfect working condition. All of the snaps are in perfect working condition as well.
