Nice, unissued cloth branch of service (BOS) collar device for an Engineer Corps officer of the US Army. This is a WW2 era patch, embroidered in yellow-gold thread on olive drab wool fabric of the era. Intended for wear with the olive drab wool button collar shirt worn with combat dress. Unissued condition, with raw, unfinished edge.
