DÁM ĐẢM ĐANG SẢN XUẤT – GIỎI VIỆC NƯỚC, ĐẢM VIỆC NHÀ
Vietnam commemorative badge - Gold figure of a woman in traditional áo dài, carrying baby in slingwhat appears to be a book or scroll, over a translucent red-orange background.
The inscription reads \"DÁM ĐẢM ĐANG SẢN XUẤT – GIỎI VIỆC NƯỚC, ĐẢM VIỆC NHÀ\", which translates to roughly \"Good at work and good at housework\".
This slogan was part of a well-known Vietnamese women\'s movement campaign, officially promoted by the Hội Liên hiệp Phụ nữ Việt Nam (Vietnam Women’s Union) from the 1960s onward.
It encouraged women to contribute fully to the socialist economy (factories, farms, offices) while also fulfilling domestic roles, and was linked to awards and emulation movements recognising “exemplary women.”
Badges of this kind were awarded during local and national women\'s union congresses, International Women’s Day events (8 March), and labor award ceremonies.
Issued from the late 1960\'s through the mid 1970\'s.
