FIELD NOTES:
Messengers were the arteries of the command network. Before encrypted radio became standard, these personnel ran intel across trenches, tents, and tarmacs. Whether in HQ corridors or frontline foxholes, they moved messages that shaped campaigns.

This insignia was affixed to garments of certified communication runners in operational units. Each patch authorized bearer status under Signal Corps tactical order.
